APL invites kids and families to create with LEGOs! Use our blocks, big and small, to create from your imagination or try one of our challenges. We encourage the whole family to come and build! Your creations will be displayed in the Children's Room.
Planting sunflowers early attracts pollinators all season! Join beekeeping experts from the ECBA for this fun, free activity for the kiddos. Visit the sunflower table on the main lawn to plant and meet a beekeeper!

When Santa arrives in Market Square at the end of the Amesbury Holiday Parade he’ll help the Chamber of Commerce light the Christmas Tree after leading us in holiday carols. For information about the tree lighting and caroling contact the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce.
Amesbury's own Ryan Fitzsimmons will play americana-rock originals and covers. He has toured all over New England and beyond, appearing at venues such as the Newport Folk Festival & Club Passim, winning the awards "Best Male Vocalist" and "Favorite Local Rock Band" along the way. His songs that are “as authentic and emotion driven as they come” (thanks Redline Roots). Kara Kulpa will join him on fiddle and mandolin.

Don't throw your pumpkins away after Halloween, compost them! One day only - bring your pumpkin to the Amesbury Compost Facility - no sticker needed. More than 1 BILLION pounds of pumpkin get thrown away every year. Composting pumpkins can be used for parks, gardens and farms.
