Anybody who has ever had a case of poison ivy will tell you that they wish they could go back in time and avoid ever having contact with the plant - and that's precisely the best way to deal with it. If you and your children can identify the plant and avoid coming into contact with the oily residue on its leaves, everyone is bound to have much more fun this summer!
Update 2024 - this farmers market is no longer operating. The Magnolia Community Farmer’s Market will reopen in June of 2021 with a full line up of vendors, followers, entertainment and community purpose. We hope to offer favorite flavors, produce and products, created and operated by local vendors, crafters, artisans, farmers, purveyors, bakers, and chefs. Our dedicated team will strive to provide the very best in local goods while creating a new avenue to give back to our community. Funds raised by the MCFM will directly benefit the enrichment of Magnolia.
Landmark School is hosting a community Electronics Recycling event for friends and neighbors to be able to dispose of their broken or unwanted electronics responsibly. The event is a community service fundraiser so a small fee will be charged for donated electronics. Laptops, cell phones, PCs, stereos, fans, blenders, air conditioners, printers, monitors, small refrigerators, microwaves—anything with a plug! Spread the word.
Join the Trustees on Saturday April 20th to celebrate Earth Day on the farm! Neighbors, families, and community members will work together to clean up the farm, complete barnyard projects, restore the chicken enclosure, clean up trails, split and stack wood, assist with property enhancements, and get their hands dirty to care for the great outdoors.
