With the holidays quickly approaching, we'll be wrapping gifts! Stop by the library, listen to some relaxing music, and wrap gifts with us. Drop in any time between 3:30-4:45. Fro Tweens and Teens in Grades 5-12.
Come and Ring in the Holiday Season with Kids Activities, a visit from Santa Claus, Hay Rides (weather permitting), Hastings House Outdoor Tree Lighting, Snacks, Beer & Wine. All ages are welcome. Come join your neighbors for some fun!
The Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann is a festive event celebrating the holiday season, running from late November through New Year's Day. Over 100 local businesses in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are participating by decorating their storefronts with lights and creative displays. A decorating contest is back by popular demand, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite decorated business in each of the five communities.
Edward Speck and Joshua Shack bring back a favorite TITO Holiday Panto. We’ve updated our version of this classic fairy tale, added a holiday spin, plenty of adorable mice and even a few playful clowns to lead audiences on an enchanted adventure. It’s everything that you loved the first time you saw Cinderella, with some new surprises, just for fun!
Ipswich River Watershed Association hosts a fish printing craft session during Ipswich Evergreen. Participants will be repurposing real fish (shad, originally used for scientific research) and making beautiful and unique prints which can be used for gifts, decorations, cards, or anything your heart desires!
Come to downtown Rockport Ma for a torch-lit live reenactment of the Nativity - a long standing community tradition in Rockport Massachsuetts! Each year hundreds of spectators gather to watch the live re-enactment of the story of baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Bethlehem inn and the stable. The pageant begins with a torch lit procession which starts at Dock Square and proceeds up Main Street to the Congregational Church. Here the story of Jesus’ birth is brought to life through a live narration.
Join Danvers Recreation/Endicott Park Staff for a super fun holiday workshop! We will use fresh evergreen boughs to make an adorable evergreen gnome decoration for your garden or front steps this winter!
Everyone's invited to enter Wenham Museum’s gingerbread contest! Individuals, families, groups, teams–all are encouraged to create a Gingerbread House for this friendly community competition.
