Essex Hertiage invites you to learn the true causes and events behind the Salem Witch Trials in our documentary film, then discover the myths during our walking tour. The Salem Witch Trials happened over 300 years ago, and it has been dramatized in books, documentaries, movies, and even TV shows. Over the years it has been presented so many times in so many ways that the line between fact and fiction gets blurred.

Green Beverly is excited to announce our Beverly Pumpkin Smash! Bring your pumpkins to New Entry at Moraine Farm, and participate in our composting event! Enjoy the beautiful farm scenery while you launch your pumpkins from a trebuchet into a giant compost pile!  We also offer classic lawn games and products from local businesses.  In 2022 we diverted 40+ tons of CO2 and 30,000 pounds of organic waste from landfills. Come join the fun with and expected crowd of 2000 or more for another 'smashing' event!

$1 Halloween Movie the Cabot: Gremlins

Come see Gremlins on Halloween at the Cabot Theater in Beverly Massachusetts for just $1/child!

This Halloween, Greater Beverly YMCA, Be Healthy Beverly, a youth substance use coalition, and the Regional Youth Prevention Network, is excited to present $1 Fright Night at The Cabot! Middle and High School students from across the North Shore are welcome to stop by between 4:30 and 6pm for some Halloween tricks and treats, before settling in with complimentary popcorn and soda to watch Gremlins on the big screen from 6-8pm.

Trick-or-Treat at the Castle

Kids are invited to Hammond Castle in Gloucester Massachusetts for some Halloween fun!

What better place to trick or treat than at an old seaside castle? We have everything you need to ignite your child’s imagination: a drawbridge, spiral staircase, and a Great Hall. We will have spooky music, multiple trick or treat stations inside the castle and bubbles, snacks, and a craft at the 13th Century arches. You bring the scary costumes.
