They will be bringing exhibits of the living things they have found in our local vernal pools to show us some of the critters that rely on this critical wetland habitat. Learn about the three obligate species - spotted salamanders, wood frogs and fairy shrimp that are found on Cape Ann. No registration is needed. This event will be at our 21 Main Street location.

Every second Friday through the month of June, the YWCA is giving parents a chance to relax and enjoy a well deserved night out or in, and the confidence of knowing our highly qualified youth services staff have their kids' entertainment covered! This popular program, which includes an hour of swim plus wicked fun activities like raucous Wii competitions, dancing and karaoke jam sessions, also includes a tasty snack to add to the party vibe. Peabody Essex Museum invites kids and families for days of fun and engaging events and activities during February vacation week! Come to the Museum Come join us for a week of exploration into our relationship with nature and discover new ways to become a steward of the earth. There will be drop in art activities, collaborative art projects, multisensory tours, artist demonstrations and more! The museum hosts a weeklong celebration (10am - 4pm daily) of Black History Month and the exhibition 'Jacob Lawrence: The American Struggle' through family-friendly art making, music and storytelling. All programs are included with admission.

Please note, the Salem Common is an outdoor venue and seating is not provided. We recommend bringing blankets, pillows, and hoodies. The Food Court will be open on the Common
