The Manchester Memorial Elementary School 5th Grade Class will host a screening of the critically acclaimed 'Race to Nowhere', where a concerned mother turned filmmaker aims her camera at the culture of hollow achievement and pressure to perform that has invaded America’s schools. It is destroying our children’s love of learning and feeding an epidemic of unprepared, disengaged, and unhealthy students. This film focuses on the issues facing children in the school systems of America today, and leaves you thinking about what it really takes to produce a happy, motivated, creative human being.

Grab your pajamas and join us for a Night at the Lynn Museum! Enjoy a live animal demonstration, dinosaur crafts, and a showing of the movie. A Night at the Museum” with complimentary snacks for the kids. Be on the lookout for some of our surprise guests! Enjoy a beautiful night on at the ocean's edge at the Plum Island Beach parking lot converted into a 'Drive-in'. Grab your friends or family, jump in the car and head over to Plum Island for a weekend of drive-in movies to kick off this summer! All proceeds to benefit the Newburyport Youth Services scholarship funds. This showing will be Cars!  A hot-shot race-car named Lightning McQueen gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.
