Upcycled Printmaking for All Ages at NPL

Use upcycled materials to create photo albums at this workshop.

Have you ever wondered if there was some way you could recycle styrofoam trays and packaging? Well, there is! Join Newburyport artisan and re-maker Pam Farren teaches techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints using recycled styrofoam trays, paper and ink. Stop by and try your hand at making a miniature work of art! This is a Free program in the Children's Activity Room and all materials are provided, but you're encouraged to bring styrofoam trays from home to use or share.

In partnership with the Imagination Foundation, the Phoenix School will host its annual Cardboard Challenge at Armory Park in Salem. Join in the worldwide celebration of creativity and imagination where everyone is challenged to design and create using cardboard and recycled materials. The Phoenix School Cardboard Challenge is part of a global Day of Play around the world. The Phoenix School’s Global Cardboard Challenge is an opportunity for kids, parents, students of all ages, adults -- everyone!-- to join in the FUN!

Middle Street Harvest Festival

Middle Street Gloucester comes alive with music and fun for the Harvest Festival

There's a lot going during the Harvest Festival on Middle Street in Gloucester!  Come to the Middle Street Harvest Festival for live music, museum tours, the Thanksgiving Cape Ann Farmers Market, a craft fair and chowder luncheon, story time and crafts for the kids, tours of the Gloucester Fire Station and more! A benefit concert will take place to raise funds for the Grace Center at Trinity Congregational Church of Gloucester.  The Middle Street Harvest Festival is sponsored by Bank Gloucester and other local businesses.
