Lace up your running shoes and join us for the annual Melody Miles Road Race where you’ll make your way through the streets of beautiful Hamilton and Wenham featuring student singers and instrumentalists at the starting line and along the Melody Miles course. The 5K and 5-Mile races begin at 10am. Walkers are also welcome.
The friends and family of Colleen Ritzer have created this 5K walk/run to celebrate Colleen’s life and her commitment to help and inspire others. Through the Step Up for Colleen event, organizers hope to enhance a sense of community and overall goodwill as we come together to honor Colleen and the values by which she lived.

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras will perform a Thanksgiving concert to benefit the Ipswich Community Food Pantry. Come enjoy great music presented by some of the most talented youngsters on the North Shore and help the food pantry when it is needed the most - the week of Thanksgiving! Donations will be collected to benefit the Thanksgiving Basket Project of a local food pantry.
NEER North will be hosting “The Mane Event,” our biggest fundraiser of the year, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore in Danvers, MA. The funds raised from the auction allow us to provide food, shelter, medicine, and vital veterinary and farrier services for the at-risk horses and donkeys in our care.
Join the Musary for a fun night of revelry while supporting a local organization that helps local kids follow their love of music! The Symphony of Trees is our premier fundraising effort, which includes live entertainment, dinner, tree auction, and red carpet arrival. Monies raised from this event will support our mission in procuring musical instruments, refurbishing well-loved donated instruments, supporting instrument playgrounds, and making the library’s collection accessible to a wider audience.
The 25th Annual “Rubber Duck Race” hosted by the Danvers Kiwanis raises money that benefits scholarship funds for local college students. THE RACE is rain or shine, and hundreds of Rubber Ducks will be dumped into the Porter River adjacent to Popes Landing. The drama escalates, competition has begun. As the lead duck streaks towards the finish line, “Who will be the WINNER?” Join us for pre-race family-fun festivities starting at 9:00 am.
Magnolia’s 42nd Annual Road Race is a 5k Race to be held rain or shine along a beautiful, scenic route in Magnolia. A 1k Walk/Fun Run will appeal to kids and those not capable of completing the 5k. All proceeds from the races go to the Magnolia Library.
Come to the Kay Ellis Memorial Fundraiser for a night of fun in Gloucester! Enjoy a sunset schooner cruise aboard the Lannon or Ardelle, followed by dinner, dessert, local music, and a pirate raffle. In 2017, $9,000 was awarded to students studying Hospitality and Tourism.
