Brian Murphy is a self-taught artist who started Totally Wired Sculpture in 2002. His work can be seen as lighthearted line drawings in the medium of steel wire. The goal of each piece is to create a kinetic movement from the tension in the wire so that the figures seem to dance or sway on their own and appear enlivened! Come to this demonstration and learn how to make your own! No experience necessary an all supplies with be supplied. Please register at the library.

Children move from adult-driven activities to device-driven activities with little time left for child-driven free play. In this group parents will learn how to make unstructured play time a natural part of the daily routine. Parents will learn concrete strategies to decrease the allure of electronic devices and find tools to offer a childhood experience surrounded by nature, imagination and creativity.
Do you and your child or grandchild love to cook together? Choose a recipe from children's cookbook "Cooking Step by Step" by DK Publishing, and together with your child prepare it and bring it in to share! Pick up a copy of the book in children's services.
