Stroll our seaside treasure with birding basics.  Hear the symphony of spring bird song!  Watch for them at the field’s, woodland’s, and ocean’s edge.  Learn about their sounds, habits, and flight patterns.  Enjoy extraordinary views. 

This April Vacation, young visitors are invited to discover the art and history of Cape Ann at the CAM Green!  Explore the newest exhibition, Breath of Life – C.B. Fisk, Designers & Builders of Pipe Organs to learn about these incredible instruments. View intricate models of the architectural spaces and pipe organs they design, see tools used in the construction process, take an audio scavenger hunt, and enjoy one of the daily drop-in art making activities.

The season ends with Sibelius romantic and passionate Symphony No. 2. The symphony is full of gorgeous, hyper emotional melodies as well as exciting moments of high drama. The Rachamaninoff Piano Concerto is one of the most popular works in the repertoire, and virtuoso pianist Myron Romanul will be the soloist.

Art in the Barn is recognized as one of the North Shore’s premier art events, showcasing the work of some of the most talented artists in the region. An annual fundraising event for over 30 years, the show takes place at Greenbelt’s headquarters, Cox Reservation in Essex, an iconic plein air painting location, conserved forever by Greenbelt.Paintings, Photographs, Collages, Pastels, Sculpture, Ceramics, Blown glass, Fine woodworking, Stonework and more!
