Endicott Park's Erika Moretti presents a fascinating Animal Skull Identification program for kids! Budding scientists and nature lovers will really enjoy this presentation! Kids will get to see and touch real skulls from animals and will learn how to identify the animal based off the size and shape of the skull and certain key features. The skulls are all native mammals, but they'll see a bird and reptile skull for comparison. The lesson is very interactive, with lots of audience participation!

Teens are invited to Abbot Public Library for a fun afternoon of crafting. Prepare for springtime with a summer camp favorite! Learn how to make a colorful keychain or zipper pull using plastic lacing. Make a simple box stitch keychain with two colors, or learn how to do more advanced shapes with three and four colors. Instructions will be provided, and no registration is required.
Cape Ann is known worldwide for its exciting concentrations of winter seabirds. Thousands of birders visit the rugged coast of Cape Ann and scan the adjacent waters hoping to spot some of the unusual and highly sought-after seabirds that spend the winter months just offshore. The best way to get to see these birds and experience them up close is to visit them in their natural habitat- on the ocean!

Learn the basics of animal tracking, plant survival adaptations, and discover the human history of survival in our coastal habitats, with the rich history of The Crane Estate providing a glimpse into the evolving human uses of the land, from the indigenous Pawtucket through early European settlers and into the modern era. A sighting of a resident snowy owl is always a possible bonus!
