Danvers Library  kicks off National Poetry Month with a poetry open mic for teens. From slam poetry to sonnets, all poetry is welcome! Please register if you would like to read a poem by emailing jsantomauro@noblenet.org. There may be time at the end for poets who didn't register to read. Presented with National English Honors Society at Danvers High School. If you are attending but not reading, no need to register.

Children in grades 1-3 are invited to explore painting materials and styles. The emphasis will be on having fun with the process, and painting experience is not required. All materials will be provided. Bring an old shirt or t-shirt to protect your clothes! Participation is limited to eight, so registration is required. Please call the Children’s Room at 781-631-1481

Spring has sprung! Celebrate Earth Day with Sawyer Free Library Children's Services and Ms. Frizzle of the Magic School Bus! Ms. Frizzle presents an interactive & fun program about planting, gardening, and saving the beautiful planet Earth! This morning of fun is ideal for young children ages 3 and up and their families. This event will be held at 70 Middle Street, Trinity Church, right behind the library & no registration is needed.

The TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex invites kids to join Ms. Julie for a fun art & music program for the whole family! Designed for children ages 0-8 and their adult. Registration is requested but not required. Register through Early Childhood Partners at: www.earlychildhoodpartners.com.
