Want to learn how to make a festive pie in time for Halloween? Join our baker Kami and learn some tips and tricks to manipulate pie dough to make some creepy creations! Everyone will walk away from the class with pie dough and their own Halloween themed desserts to take home. No need to pick between Trick or Treat as once you have learned your new tricks, the class will end with a shared treat!
Join Downtown and Tannery merchants as they celebrate Halloween! Gather your Ghosts and Goblins for Newburyport's annual downtown trick or treat event! Celebrate Halloween and stop by in costume for a trick or a treat! This event is intended for small children accompanied by an adult.
Families will find Halloween fun at Marini Farm in Ipswich! Costumes, Characters, Dancing, Games, Treating, Maze, Hayride, and much more. We welcome everyone to join in on the fun and dress up. Tickets available online or at the gate.
Join The Trustees of Reservations for an Open House at Moraine Farm! We’re very excited to host a Moraine Farm Open House with our property partners this Fall. Happening Sunday October 15th from 11am – 2pm, join us as we open up this very special property for the day. There will be an opportunity to learn all about the work here, including activities from our partners Project Adventure, Waldorf School at Moraine Farm, New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, and the Friends of the Olmsted Landscape at Moraine Farm.
Join Seaside Sustainability for a COASTSWEEP clean up of of Tuck's Point's shoreline from 9-11am on Saturday, October 14th! What to Bring: Appropriate clothes for being on the coast, hat, sunscreen, water, snack, thin gloves optional, hand sanitizer, and a friend or two! Seaside Sustainability will supply everything you’ll need for the cleanups.
As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to come to Gloucester to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the Gloucester beaches and shoreline. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans! This specific cleanup is coordinated by Michael Mitchell and the Community Church of East Gloucester, and will cover up to 8 beaches in Gloucester.
Join The Trustees of Reservations at the Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens for Halloween fun! The gardens have transformed in to our Ghoulish Gardens! Take a walk through the meadow to read our Story Stroll brought to you by the Stevens Memorial Library. Then, hunt down the hidden pumpkins throughout the rest of the property to win a prize at the end.
Take a stroll through the Ghoulish Gardens and show off your costume before Halloween! We will have multiple stops throughout the property to trick-or-treat, including:
Put on your costume and come down to the farm for a family barnyard trick-or-treat celebration! We will start with a Halloween story circle followed by a special Halloween craft session. We will then trick-or-treat through the barnyard, children’s garden, and farm to visit our animal friends and gather the goodies they have waiting for us.
