Come to Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a mid-winter open house and bonfire to celebrate the official purchase of the town of Newbury on January 13, 1701. Come visit the 1690 farm house from 3-4pm. Then walk down to the town-sponsored bonfire and enjoy food, beer, wine, hot chocolate and other beverages that will be available for purchase from local vendors. The bonfire is lit around dusk (~4:30pm) Pre-purchase your parking pass for a guaranteed spot in the parking field. Parking pass ticket $20.
Ipswich Evergreen is a Holiday festival and civic celebration at the Ipswich Visitor Center , and Ipswich's Old South Meetinghouse Green. Ipswich has great cause for merriment and jubilation! Friends of the Peabody Institute Library - Danvers will be hosting their annual Holiday Open House from 2pm to 4pm on the ground floor of the library. Live music with the band Classic Groove, crafts for all ages, door prizes and refreshments galore! All ages are invited to drop by and enjoy some holiday cheer.

Visit Lowell’s Boat Shop during their Annual Holiday Open House is a two day family event during the first weekend in December. Festivities include old time music by violinist Gus La Casse and banjo player Mathias Kamin III; a children’s workshop with arts and crafts projects; visits from Santa (12 to 1 p.m. each day); a Silent Auction featuring boats, a stay at Mohonk Mountain House, sails on pinky schooner Ardelle, jewelry, and numerous gift certificates and items donated by generous area restaurants and shops.
