Memorial Park (Marblehead)
This .32 acre parcel borders both Essex Street and Pleasant Street. Its benches allows visitors to relax while paying respect to Marblehead's Fallen Heroes. The park honors those who have died at war with memorials for all wars and conflicts.
Ipswich Riverwalk
The Ipswich Riverwalk is a bridge that spans the Ipswich River in Downtown Ispswich and effectively permits easy foot traffic across the river From South Main Street to Union Street through Ebesco Publishing's parking lot. There are small park areas on either side of the bridge.
Tuck's Point
This park borders Manchester Harbor with a pebble beach, pier, benches, swing set, gazebo, and covered function area with picnic tables. Resident parking only. A beautiful location for a party, picnic, family gathering, or just a day at the park and beach! Located in Manchester, Massachusetts, Tuck's Point has a beach, swings, picnic area, Chowder House, and comfort station with male and female accessible bathrooms. You can reserve the park through the Town of Manchester - with price scales for residents and non-residents.
Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site
Thatcher Island
Thacher Island National Wildlife Refuge is home to herring and great black-backed gulls. The refuge serves as a stopover site for songbirds and other migrants to rest and feed during seasonal migration. Off-shore habitats are used by seals, waterfowl, loons, grebes, cormorants and alcids.
There are two lighthouses are only hundreds of feet apart on Thatcher Island, which makes it unique to New England. The only other twin light house is Twin Lights of the Navesink in New Jersey.
Sandy Point State Reservation
Sandy Point is at the very southern tip of Plum Island, a classic Atlantic Ocean barrier island. The 77-acre park is among the state's most beautiful and popular coastal beaches. Passive recreational activities include walking, beach combing, fishing and birding.
