North Shore Children's Museum is hosting a monthly homeschool meet-up. It takes place during the 1-4 PM play session. A private party room will be reserved for homeschoolers to gather for self-directed lessons.
Celebrate National Children's Dental Health Month with students from Essex Tech Dental Program at North Shore Children's Museum. Children will enjoy stories, songs, and activities about teeth and dentists and will have an opportunity to practice their brushing skills! Families of all ages are welcome.
House of Seven Gables celebrates Salem's So Sweet and Valentine's Day with a day of festive events including Ice Sculpture Viewing, a scavenger hunt, Family Valentine Crafts and more! On Second Saturdays, music students of Alexandra Grace Music Studio will join the Cape Ann Museum for the ‘Cape Ann Youth Musical Showcase’. Every month will have a different theme, and students will perform songs in a fun and creative evening of live music.
Wenham Museum hosts a fun presentation by Wingmasters in Wenham Massachusetts. Come see live owls up close in this indoor presentation that will introduce you to different owls and other birds of prey in our region. The presentations start at 10:30am or 2pm and includes admission to the museum. This program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the dark explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live owls provides the focus of the presentation.
Join us to close out our 2023 season with some holiday themed karaoke, winter crafts and games! Bring a batch of cookies to share/swap. We will provide the hot cocoa and fun for the whole family! All ages. This event is free but we welcome donations!

During this free event we invite you to explore our latest exhibits, enjoy refreshments and live music from the Newburyport Choral Society and the Great Port Sound!, In addition, there will be an online wreath auction. And, we'll have the recently debuted "Hammond Naval Warfare," game of naval strategy designed by our founder, inventor John Hays Hammond Jr! You can be one of the first to ever play it.
