Parent & Child Art Workshop at CMNH

Sarah Haskell will lead a creative workshop for kidS and their parents at CMNH

On Saturday, March 10, nationally known fiber artist and weaver Sarah Haskell will lead a 90-minute creative workshop for children age 7 or older and their parents at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. Each participating parent/child pair will transform a simple plastic container into a beautiful work of art using textural materials. Pre-registration for this workshop is required.

“You Be the President” Interactive Museum Activity - February 18-26


Visitors to the Museum are invited to step up to a podium set before the actual scene of JFK’s January 20, 1961 inauguration and deliver some of the most stirring passages of his inaugural address guided by computerized visual prompts. “You Be the President” will be open from February 18 - February 26.

Consider how the planet itself has changed over time. Investigate human ancestors through fossils. Meet Harvard scientists and hear about their research. Examine rare specimens, search for clues about the past in common fossils, and make your own models.
