Wingmasters Presents "The World of Owls"

Come learn all about owls from Wingmasters at Wenham Museum in Massachusetts

Wenham Museum hosts a fun presentation by Wingmasters in Wenham Massachusetts. Come see live owls up close in this indoor presentation that will introduce you to different owls and other birds of prey in our region. The presentations start at 10:30am or 2pm and includes admission to the museum. This program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the dark explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live owls provides the focus of the presentation.

Holiday Open House at the Custom House

You and your family are invited to share in a Winter Holidays celebration at The Custom House in Newburyport Massachusetts

You and your family are invited to share in a Winter Holidays celebration at our Open House on Friday, December 1 from 5pm – 9pm. During this free event we invite you to explore our latest exhibits, enjoy refreshments and live music from the Newburyport Choral Society and the Great Port Sound!, In addition, there will be an online wreath auction. Game Night at the Castle, of course!  Join us for a night of tabletop gaming in the Great Hall!  We will have gamer favorites such as: Dixit, Risk, Fluxx, Munchkin, Chess (Lord of the Rings Edition), We Didn't Playtest This At All, Apples to Apples, Settlers of Catan and The Oregon Trail Card Game.

And, we'll have the recently debuted "Hammond Naval Warfare," game of naval strategy designed by our founder, inventor John Hays Hammond Jr! You can be one of the first to ever play it.

Trick-or-Treat at the Castle

Kids are invited to Hammond Castle in Gloucester Massachusetts for some Halloween fun!

What better place to trick or treat than at an old seaside castle? We have everything you need to ignite your child’s imagination: a drawbridge, spiral staircase, and a Great Hall. We will have spooky music, multiple trick or treat stations inside the castle and bubbles, snacks, and a craft at the 13th Century arches. You bring the scary costumes.
