The City of Peabody hosts a Holiday Concert with Beantown Swing at City Hall!

BeanTown Swing will bring live music to Downtown Peabody this December for the City's annual Holiday Concert!  the Peabody Concert Committee is proud to present A Big Band Christmas, featuring the Beantown Swing Orchestra. This renowned band specializes in vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics and will perform many of your holiday favorites and all-time seasonal classics,

Come raise money for 'Toys for Tots' and get your photo with Santa in Danvers!

Come to the beautiful Danvers-Wenham Swampwalk where Santa will be making a special stop to meet you and have his picture taken with you to raise money for Toys For Tots! Photos, downloads, ornaments and Christmas cards can be ordered online later that day and weekend and all proceeds from the sale of these items goes directly to TOYS FOR TOTS! Grab the family, the dogs, and walk off that Thanksgiving turkey - please join us! Hike up an appetite on Thanksgiving Day with the Essex County Greenbelt Association!  Join ECGA's Eric Hutchins for a FREE guided walk on moderate terrain along the trails of Dogtown! The Heather Pierson Quartet will perform the entirety of the Charlie Brown Christmas album as recorded by the Vince Guaraldi Trio, as well as other well known and popular Christmas tunes.  Pierson is an award-winning pianist, multi-genre singer/songwriter, arranger, bandleader, and performer.  Her quartet also includes Joe Aliperti on alto and tenor sax, Shawn Nadeau on bass, and Matty Bowman on drums.

In honor of Mother’s Day, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is offering free admission for all mothers and grandmothers on Sunday, May 11 from 12-5 pm. There will also be a special creative activity for children who visit on Mother’s Day. In the Museum’s Muse Studio, kids can make a gift to give to the special woman in their lives. This activity is included with paid admission ($9 each for children and adults) and free for Children’s Museum members.
