We welcome you to celebrate 4th of July on the Waterfront in the beautiful historic downtown of Newburyport, MA at the 1st Annual Enjoy Your Life Brand and Levia present FREEVOLUTION! This event will feature live performances by critically acclaimed national performers and exceptional local to Newburyport, MA musicians.
The goal of this race is not to achieve the fastest time, it's survival! Runners will follow the designated course while encountering a terrifying array of the finest Zombies Salem has to offer! Runners will be wearing a flag belt, similar to the ones worn in flag football. The zombies will try to grab the flags off the belt, which ‘kills’ the runner. Once a runner looses all three of their flags, they are ‘dead’. Dead runners will still finish the course and will receive a medal, and anyone who has any flags left after they finish are ‘alive’ and will receive a medal with a “survivor” ribbon attached.
For the first time, the The Trustees of Reservations will open the Great House at Castle Hill for tours on Patriots Day. Grab the family and take the Guest of the Cranes tour on the hour and our roof tour, Cupola with a View, at 11:30 AM and 1:30PM. Unique gifts are available at our gift shop with 10% off for Trustees members. Last tour of the day is at 3PM.
It's the most wonderful time of the year -- for a Teddy Bear Tea. The gracious tradition of tea continues this holiday season at Taj Boston. The young and young at heart will thrill to the magical Teddy Bear Tea, with a child-approved, bright, colorful and deliciously decadent holiday-themed menu that includes tea sandwiches of peanut butter and jelly, ham and Swiss cheese, and turkey and cheddar cheese as well as cookies, hot chocolate, and a host of festive activities.
Come see baseball the way it was played during the time of the Civil War. See the Providence Grays take on the Brooklyn Atlantics in an 1864 style vintage base ball game. See how much the game has changed from the time of no gloves, wool uniforms, and heavy wooden bats. Event is free for all to attend.

Memebers of the GSC Youth Acting Workshop will be performing selections from It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,by George M. Schultz, The Widow's Broom by Chris Van Allsburg, and Benny the Bat by George Ulrich. Wear a costume and get a holiday treat!
