The Greening of the Great House is a weekend of festivities at Castle Hill Ipswi

You're invited to celebrate the magic of the holidays as the Great House on Castle Hill is festively decorated by area florists and designers for the 'Greening of the Great House'. The Greening of the Great House is a weekend-long event where families will enjoy live music, a dance performance, a children's Eye Spy, refreshments, and more throughout the weekend.

Jedi Knight Training

Learn to defeat the Sith and embrace the Light side of the force on Salem Common

Children between the ages of four and nine years old will have a chance to interact with a real Jedi Knight. Jedi Knight Training will be held on the Common — an interactive performance that is great for both boys and girls! Children are led through a series of challenges including Jedi Force Magic, the Laser Balloon Barrage and Jedi Teamwork culminating in an epic lightsaber duel with the Jedi Master himself. This FREE event is open to children aged 4-9, and costumes are encouraged!

Mayor's Halloween Health Fair

The Mayor's Health Fair has trick or treating and lots of fun activities!

Newburport Mayor Holaday and the City Health Department invite the community to attend the Mayor’s Haunted Health & Wellness Fair and Flu Clinic on Saturday, October 26 from 10 am – 1 pm at City Hall. This year’s Fair offers Halloween Fun with a Healthy Focus. In addition to the FREE Flu Clinic, FREE Health Screening and a variety of informational displays from local health and wellness organizations, there will be a Children’s Costume Parade at 10:30 a.m. and a Costumed-Pet Parade at noon around Brown Square!
