It's that time of year again! Let's kick off your Holiday Vacation the right way - with cookies! Bring your creativity to come and decorate ninja cookies and ugly sweater sugar cookies. As always, prizes will go towards those who present the classiest or craziest designs (and backstories). This year's theme is: "Let It Snow!"
As the holiday season rapidly approaches, North Atlantic Ballet welcomes back their annual telling of The Nutcracker. Artistic Director Lucy Warren-Whitman consistently brings the stage to life with her contemporary twist on Clara’s journey to The Land Of Sweets. Audiences delight each year in new choreography, guest appearances, creative costumes, and of course our local children’s cast dancing alongside NAB’s seasoned company dancers.

Fauns and turkish delight and pies-in-the-face return to the Firehouse Center for the Arts! Why? Because it’s panto time silly! Will our heroes survive their adventures in the wardrobe? Will good triumph over evil? Will someone throw balled-up socks at you? Yes, yes, and DEFINITELY. See you for another holiday panto this December!

Join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and laughter! Our Wreath Decorating Parties take place in our heated greenhouse. Included in the ticket price is a 12" wreath, fresh greens, berries, ribbon, wire, and various decorative items to adorn your wreath. Sizes of wreaths may be upgraded upon ticket purchase for an additional cost.
Come on up to Essex Elementary School and ring in the cold winter with a hot pancake breakfast! Suggested contribution is $10 per individual or $25 for a family and all proceeds go to Essex Elementary fifth grade students’ end-of-year activities and the student activities fund. Gather around the tree in front of Essex Town Hall to honor loved ones past and place your memorial ornament. This is always a meaningful and peaceful way to begin the holiday season. Registration forms for your memorial ornament can be found at Brookline Bank and Essex Town Hall and must be returned by November 28th to ensure that your ornament is ready.
