Beverly Holiday Fair Saturday

Four Holiday Fairs in one day in Beverly MA!

Attend four church fairs on the same day and help support Family Promise of the North Shore, an organization working to bring area families out of homelessness. Obtain a "Passport" raffle ticket at any of the four fairs (suggested donation $2.00,) and have it stamped at each Fair. At the end of the day, turn in your ticket with stamps from all four churches to be entered into a raffle for great prizes, including tickets to the North Shore Music Theater's Christmas Carol, tickets to The Cabot Theater, restaurant gift certificates and more! Participating churches are all in Beverly: Dane Street Church, First Baptist Church, First Parish Church and Second Congregational Church. Visit here for more information.

Veteran's Day at Cape Ann Museum

 Cape Ann Museum hosts a family friendly concert based on Katy and the Big Snow!

The Museum will have an ongoing video program in the auditorium featuring images from the Civil War to Vietnam with a voice-over of letters written home by soldiers. Also offered on Veteran’s Day is will be a special military-themed tour at 2:00 pm looking at items from the museum collection like a cannon ball that was fired into the facade of the First Parish Unitarian Church of Gloucester in 1775.

The grounds will be transformed by more than ten miles of holiday lights into a twinkling wonderland with holiday displays, family-friendly activities including a marshmallow-roast, a reindeer scavenger hunt, live performances, a visit with Santa Claus in the Model T, and children can get up close to baby animals, take carousel rides, and more.

Newburyport's Great Pumpkin Lighting and Stroll is a new family, friendly event that will take place in Market Square. Families are encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin that will be lit and placed on the stairs of Market Square for all to enjoy! Each family will receive a votive candle that will be lit all at once at dusk - approximately 6:15 PM.

On Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly MA will host an Easter egg decorating and dyeing event. Kids will create pretty eggs with a variety of coloring ideas and embellishments with all sorts of crafts supplies. Kids can create Easter eggs as fun, interesting, and unique as they are!

Celebrate Father’s Day this year by treating dad to The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon’s fourth annual Field Day with Dad event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Gillette Stadium field. Tickets are on sale now at www.thehallatpatriotplace.com.

The June 19th event will feature access to the Gillette Stadium field where you will be able to toss a football inside the home of the four-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots (please note that natural grass will be covering the field for the Copa America Centenario international soccer tournament), take photos with Patriots Cheerleaders, tour the Patriots’ locker room and enjoy Patriots–themed inflatables. Event tickets also include admission to The Hall, which features two floors of interactive football entertainment and history.
