This beloved event is back after 4 years! Fiesta en la Calle is North Shore CDC’s annual festival celebrating the vibrant culture of the Point neighborhood that includes live music, dancing, art and the premiere of a new collection of murals in the Punto Urban Art Museum by New England based artists and Point residents. The annual Block Party celebrates the diverse community and culture of the people who live and work there.

Set sail on a full-scale replica of the famous 1812 privateer schooner FAME. FAME is a replica of a privateer schooner that sailed from Salem during the War of 1812! We sail up to five times a day between May and October from Pickering Wharf in Salem.

The Salem Common Neighborhood Association is throwing it's Vintage Lawn Party on Salem Common. This free event has music, dance lessons, vendors, and lawn games! Prizes for Best Dressed Single, Best Dressed Couple, and Witch's Wicket Winner!

As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore at Furlong Park in Salem Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans!
