Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Fall Festival and Open House

Save the date for the annual Fall Festival and Open House at Waldrof School at Moraine Farm. The day's activities will include a puppet show, nature walks through the Moraine Farm property, cooperative games in the meadow, a dance performance offered by the Cape Ann Center for Dance (including some Waldorf alum performers!), a cozy fire and warm apple cider, and lunch offered by the third-grade class. Our many outdoor play spaces will be open for families to explore and enjoy lunch al fresco. 

During the Open House, all classrooms will be open. Although no registration is required, we encourage you to reach out to our Admissions Director, Erin Milner, at 978.927.1936, if you are interested in touring the classrooms and learning about the school. Guided tours will be scheduled throughout the day.

CAWS: Early Childhood Open House and Puppet Show

Explore the developmental journey of a Waldorf education. See where it all begins on Saturday, May 17, from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Join us for play in our woodland play area, enjoy puppet shows, followed by indoor play and refreshments with our early childhood faculty who will answer questions about our Kindergarten, Nursery, Aftercare and Parent & Child program. Learn about our exciting new expansion plans.

Fall 2014 enrollment is underway! New Solar Initiative at GUS

Glen Urquhart School Summer Program in Beverly MA

Glen Urquhart School is launching a new energy initiative with the installation of solar panels that will dramatically reduce its overall energy usage.

Glen Urquhart is one of the only schools on the North Shore to install such a large solar venture. The new 55-kilowatt system supplied and installed by Solect Solar will provide 36 percent of the schools overall electricity and avoid 105,000 pounds of Co2 emission, which is equivalent to six homes or greenhouse gas emissions from nine cars, and the amount of carbon sequestered annually from ten acres of pine forest.

She has more than thirty years of experience teaching kids and their parents about human sexuality. Roffman’s frank and vibrant pep talk will give parents the inspiration and tools needed to tackle the subject of sex with their kids.

Waldorf Math: A Uniquely Engaging Curriculum
