That Physics Show comes to the Cabot Theater in Beverly Massachusetts

Lifetime professional physics demonstrator David Maiullo brings his scientific entertainment from the world of physics to the Off-broadway stage in That Physics Show! The show features live segments on motion, momentum, vacuum, friction, energy, density, fluid motion, sound/waves/vibration, light waves, temperatures and may more from the world in which we live, a world controlled by physics.

Races are open to ALL BEVERLY ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL children.  The races will take place on the North Beverly Elementary school campus and the woods of nearby Norwood Pond.

Silk Dyeing Workshop for Adults at Waldorf at Moraine Farm

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm invites you to celebrate spring with this fun, easy, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of silk dyeing. Spend an hour or two with friends, learning to dye silks naturally.

Each participant will dye 3 silks (like the ones we have in nursery and kindergarten) with beautiful natural colors like blue, yellow, red, and brown. $50 workshop fee includes guided instruction and 3 silks, delicious breakfast snack, coffee, tea, good company, laughs and fun.

Workshop will take place at the main school in the kindergarten playground.

Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program at Waldorf School Moraine Farm

Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm for children age approximately 3.5 to 6, aims to provide developmentally appropriate experience for the young child.

Seasonally oriented, these sessions will provide the children with a practical immersion into the work and wisdom offered by the land.

Lead by a Waldorf-trained adult staff, the Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program will allow the child to experience the dream-like and imaginative quality of their inner social/emotional development in an artistic and joy filled way.

Each session will be a complete offering in itself, but the four will be a cohesive experience as well.

Rosebud Newborn Class in Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Parent & Child Program 

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Parent & Child Program presents Rosebud Newborn Class for parents with newborns up to age 6 months

The class is led by experienced early childhood educators. Parents will learn lullabies and games to play with their babies.
Teachers will share observation practices to strengthen parents’ intuitive knowledge to help them better understand and care for their baby. Themes such as developmental stages, sleep, warmth, and your new role as a parent will be explored.

Introduction to Arabic Language and Culture Summer Camp

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Summer Program, an Introduction to Arabic Language and Culture, will take campers on a journey into the Middle East through stories, art, music, food and language. Campers will learn how to introduce themselves, and basic everyday phrases and learn how to script their full name in Arabic. They will hear stories, learn songs, and cook Middle Eastern food throughout this week long program.

This class is taught by Syonara Tomoum.
