Parent & Child Rosebud Classes at Waldorf at Moraine Farm
A class for parents with newborns up to age 6 months. Topics covered in class include: developmental stages in babies, warmth and how to dress your baby, sleep, rhythm, foundational senses (sense of touch, well being/life, movement, balance), observation, babywearing, new identity as a parent, nursing, lullabies, and rhythmic games.
5-week program meets on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.

Voices of Hope presents: A MILLION DREAMS. Creating hope for a cancer-free world.
Inspired by The Greatest Showman’s title song, Voices of Hope’s Fall Gala, A Million Dreamswill draw on the stories of dreamers!
This October, we invite you to share a musical celebration of our journey. It began ten years ago when Voices of Hope was founded by a dreamer… a man who envisioned a world without cancer. Now, just a decade later, more than 150 performers have come together to dedicate their time and talents to that same vison.

Nursery and Kindergarten Outdoor Nature Walk
Join us for an outdoor nature walk to explore the our historic and beautiful campus and learn more about Waldorf School at Moraine Farm's nursery and kindergarten programs. Led by our early childhood teachers, this outdoor exploration provides interested and current families and students a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature-based education.
This nature walk will begin in the nursery play yard on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm., with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest.

Open House: Windows into the World of Waldorf
On Saturday, October 5, Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly will host an Open House starting at 10am where visitors will experience the value of Waldorf education for themselves.
Windows Into the World of Waldorf is an excellent way for families to experience what a Waldorf education offers, how a child learns in a Waldorf environment, and how Waldorf School at Moraine Farm differentiates from all other public and private schools in the area.

A Fair to Remember Fall Festival
Care One at Essex Park is hosting a fundraiser and fall festical event for school-aged children and their families. All money collect atht eh event will be donated to Windrush Farm. A local nonprofit horse farm teaching physically, emotionally, and learning disabled children and adults how to ride and work with horses.
Families will enjoy a family friendly Halloween themed event. Children will enjoy games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, raffles, prizes and more. Hot dogs, old-fashionedpopcorn, make your own spooky sundae, cider and other treats too.

Join Historic Beverly on a journey through Beverly to visit the homes and businesses of some of Beverly's most famous privateers, including the legendary Hugh Hill! We will also experience some beautiful waterfront views as our guides explain how these sites would have looked and been used. Montserrat College of Art, Bridge Street Neck Neighborhood Association (BSNNA) & other City folk from Salem & Beverly are planning a fun, family-friendly evening block party as part of Montserrat’s week long Arts Festival on both sides of the Salem-Beverly Bridge. BSNNA will be lighting up the park while Montserrat lights up the bridge! Free admission!
