Where else can you see Santa arrive by lobster boat? Santa will arrive at Rockport’s T-Wharf on Rockport Harbor following a brisk lobster boat ride across Sandy Bay. Then Santa will climb up onto a Rockport Forest Fire truck and proceed along T-Wharf and Broadway to the First Baptist Church, led by Rockport cub scouts.
The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce invites you to Marblehead to enjoy several days of holiday festivities, family events and activities! Come for one or all days with highlights that include Santa's arrival by lobster boat,Festive shopping, Tree Lightings, a holiday parade, Artisan Markets, Gingerbread Festival, Entertainment & much more! There are all kinds of family events and activities sponsored by local merchants and organizations.
The Tree Lighting will take place at the new National Grand Bank Parking Lot on Pleasant Street in Downtown Marblehead this year! Enjoy the festive atmosphere and live music as the town lights the yearly Christmas tree! Festivities begin at 5:30pm with the tree lighting at 7pm.
The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks for the tree and gazebo lighting and a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Join us for a jolly evening of carol singing and holiday cheer, featuring Brian Doser, Peter Stewart, and Stage 284 friends! Santa will be arriving by fire truck at about 7:30pm. Free to attend! We hope to see you there.
Gloucester's Holiday Parade is a great tradition to kick off the holidays! Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle! Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Gather around the tree in front of Essex Town Hall to honor loved ones past and place your memorial ornament. This is always a meaningful and peaceful way to begin the holiday season. Registration forms for your memorial ornament can be found at Brookline Bank and Essex Town Hall and must be returned by November 28th to ensure that your ornament is ready. When Santa arrives in Market Square at the end of the Amesbury Holiday Parade he’ll help the Chamber of Commerce light the Christmas Tree after leading us in holiday carols. For information about the tree lighting and caroling contact the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce.
Join us for our annual visit from Santa, tree lighting, and holiday carols with Jambalaya Horns. Inside the library, there will be crafts and snacks until Santa's arrival.
Once we have sung along with Jambalaya Horns and lit our tree kids can come inside and give Santa their letter.
