Emma Andrews Library and Community Center invites you to the library for a bowl of hot soup on a Winter afternoon! Come enjoy the library, share some great food and leave knowing that the price of your meal will go to fund 2025 Emma in the Backyard Summer Programs. Enjoy a bowl of tasty soup, bread and homemade desserts made by Emma volunteers.
Help paint a bowl to be auctioned at The Open Door's annual fundraiser!! All supplies are provided. Spaces are limited and registration is required. This program is intended for adults, teens and children (ages 8 and older.) Children aged 7 and younger may register and participate with a caretaker's assistance.

From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. Together, we are looking to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good night’s sleep. Our annual ice cream for breakfast event is also a fundraiser! For $10 you will get 2 scoops of ice cream between a Belgian waffle, and, in Putnam Pantry fashion, you can top your own sundae. We will be offering special toppings on our ice cream smorgasbord and special ice cream flavor offerings. 50% of proceeds will be donated to the Care Dimensions Hospice Houses.

The friends and family of Colleen Ritzer have created this 5K walk/run to celebrate Colleen’s life and her commitment to help and inspire others. Through the Step Up for Colleen event, organizers hope to enhance a sense of community and overall goodwill as we come together to honor Colleen and the values by which she lived.

Come see over 100 locally and professionally made gingerbread creations on display at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead, MA during this year's Marblehead Christmas Walk. Community members, businesses, and families are building and donating dozens of gingerbread houses, boats and local buildings that will be on display and available for raffle throughout the weekend. The BevRec will be hosting a Holiday Toy Drive at Lynch Park to benefit the great work that Beverly Bootstraps does for our community. After you’ve wrapped up a day of delicious food and giving thanks…not to mention the shopping…it is time to pay it forward.
