The Saint Peter's Fiesta is an annual festival in Gloucester, Massachusetts celebrating the city's fishing heritage, close-knit families, community, and religious traditions. The five-day celebration includes a carnival, live entertainment, and unique traditional events like the infamous 'Greasy Pole' contest and classic seine boat races. The festival is proudly sponsored by the Italian-American fishing community of Gloucester, and has all kinds of family-oriented activities and events, making it a great early Summer destination weekend event.
The River has no voice without us, without you! The Ipswich River Watershed Association’s Paddle-a-thon is a unique signature fundraising event celebrating the Ipswich River and clean water. It’s our annual fundraising event that encourages folks to paddle a stretch of the Ipswich River on their own or with friends.
ECTA is holding its 6th Annual Thanks for the Trails 5k and Kids Fun Run the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Patton Park in Hamilton (November 25, 2023). The Kids' Run will begin at 9:30AM and the 5k will start at 10AM. Using a scenic and challenging course and offering great prizes, this will be an event for all! Super prizes for top finishers, and many other terrific prizes!
The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is excited to return to Cashman Park for the 11th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk or run will be hosted on June 10th, 2023 at Cashman Park in Newburyport, MA. We look forward to gathering in person this year as we continue to honor 1st LT Derek Hines and provide financial assistance for Massachusetts’ soldiers, and their families, who have incurred serious, career-ending, and life-altering injuries while on active duty.
Welcome to Salem Sound Coastwatch’s 14th annual Run for the Beach 5K! Every summer community members gather at Dane St. Beach in Beverly for a fun, family-friendly race to raise money for Salem Sound Coastwatch. The race starts at the intersection of Lothrop Street and Dane St, Beverly Massachusetts. This fun road race will be equipped with chip-timing provided by Bay State Race Services. There will be ocean themed awards and prizes for different divisions and even those of you run/walking with a stroller will be eligible for a prize!
The Hamilton-Wenham Friends of the Arts is excited to host the 27th Annual Melody Miles 5k fun run at Winthrop Elementary School, on Saturday, May 27th at 10am. Our talented student performers look forward to serenading you as you walk, run, hop, skip, or dance your way along our scenic local race route.
The Lone Gull 10k starts at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and follows one of the most beautiful shoreline roads in New England. All proceeds go to the programs at The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. Race day registration, parking & staging is at the Good Harbor Beach parking lot.
