Diaper drive for families in need

Happy Baby Diaper Drive is a yoga event to benefit Citizens for Adequate Housing of Peabody. In lieu of a class fee, we are collecting diapers for our homeless families. All diaper sizes are needed, from newborn to size six. One in three families in America struggle to afford diapers for their children. A lack of diapers has many negative outcomes for children and families’ health, economic and emotional welfare, and educational opportunities. Please support this important event.

Sail Salem Beginner Program

Sail Salem's Beginner Program is FREE to all kids, but you can only take this program once.

The Beginner class is designed for youths who have never sailed before. This basic, half-day program is available to youths ages 8-18yrs. There are two sessions a day, the “morning session” running 9am-12pm and the “afternoon session” running 1pm-4pm. Students may sign up for either the morning or afternoon sessions but are limited to taking this week long class only once.

Mother's Day is a celebration at Peabody Essex Museum ! Enjoy Mother's Day Brunch at the museum catered by Hawthorne Catering and served in the Garden Restaurant overlooking the Asian Garden. After your meal visit the galleries and Museum Shop, where you can exchange your brunch voucher for a complimentary gift for Mom. General Admission to PEM is included with brunch pricing.

Glass Slipper Tea Party!

Join Cinderella & Fairy Godmother for a tea party to remember! Little Princesses will enjoy cupcakes, an interactive story time, craft, sing-a-long, and dancing. With Cinderella’s help, Fairy Godmother will transform the children with her fairy dust and wand, painting nails and giving each a pearl necklace as they get ready to dance!
Each ticket admits one adult and one child!
We ask that you don't bring strollers to the event due to the limited space. Thank you in advance!

Join us for a Fairy Special Tea Party! Your little fairy will enjoy tea time to include a fairy delicious cupcake and lemonade while chatting with our fairy special guests!There will be a magical story time, craft, dancing and sing-a-long led by some special fairy friends! Each little fairy will also receive a set of fairy wings to wear and take home! Each ticket admits one child and one adult. Limited seating!

High School Invitational Jazz Festival

Salem State High School Invitational Jazz Festival

Each year in February, the Salem State music department holds its annual high school invitational jazz festival, taking place in the music department at Central Campus. Area high school jazz bands are invited to Salem State for a day of workshops and an evening performance in the recital hall. Students will have the opportunity to work with instructors who are proficient in jazz studies and techniques. Past participants have included Salem High School, Ipswich High School, Masconomet High School, Lynn Classical, and others.
