Earthday Celebration at Beverly Bootstraps Massachusetts

Join us in celebrating our precious Earth. Every day at The Thrift Shop is a recycling day but this special event help us all to focus on helping our planet thrive. All items have been donated by the community. Some up--cycled goods will be available as well as garden art, jewelry, home goods, usable items, fun gifts, and more. All proceeds benefit Beverly Bootstraps.

Raising Treehouse Kids in an iPad World

Do you want to child to ... Dig in the dirt? Daydream? Imagine? Create? Many families today find their days are pressured, tightly scheduled and hectic. Children move from adult-driven activities to device-driven activities with little time left for child-driven free play. In this group parents will learn how to make unstructured play time a natural part of the daily routine. Parents will learn concrete strategies to decrease the allure of electronic devices and find tools to offer a childhood experience surrounded by nature, imagination and creativity.

Harvest, annually held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, is an opportunity for family, friends and school alumni to come to HWRHS and enjoy a night of beautiful singing and fun. Concert choir holds a bake sale and silent auction to raise money for the choral program. These funds go toward field trip costs, guest speakers, workshops, and so much more.

Run for the Hills Trail Run 5k/10k

The Run for the Hills 5k takes place at Pingree School in Hamilton!

This race offers both a 5K  and a 10K race. The 10K distance is part of the 2018 New England Running Company Trail Series. The race course winds through the beautiful wooded hills behind the Pingree School. Essex County Trail Association Jamboree at Groton House Farm in Hamilton Massachusetts!

Come Walk, Run, Bike and Ride on guided trail adventures (for all levels) followed by a party featuring live music, live animals, games, great food trucks and local beer from the Tapmobiles of Ipswich Ale Brewery. Trail activities from 1-3pm and party from 3-6pm. Get outdoors and have fun while supporting ECTA and the 450 miles of trails that we maintain for your access to walk, run, cycle and ride!
