The Lone Gull 10k starts at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and follows one of the most beautiful shoreline roads in New England. All proceeds go to the programs at The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. Race day registration, parking & staging is at the Good Harbor Beach parking lot.
Cape Ann Veteran Services host memorial day services at the Gloucester High School Auditorium starting at 9am.
Schooner Thomas E. Lannon is a fixture on the Gloucester Harbor vista throughout the day in the warm months, but to really experience the Lannon, you need to come aboard and go for a cruise! Sail and see lighthouses, castles, scenic beaches, and magnificent waterfront homes.
Cape Ann Art Haven hosts some great art activities for the family during April vacation week. At the Riverside Community Center on corner of Veterans Way and Patriots Circle, we will have all the supplies for a family to create art together! This is not a drop off event. Please wear appropriate clothing for sometimes messy art!
Kids Unlimited and The Adventures of Scuba Jack present Gloucester's Halloween Party, sponsored by the Gloucester City Council. The Fred Kyrouz Auditorium will be decked out with friendly ghost and goblins. Come to Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church for a fun afternoon of dancing, singing, games, live-music and family fun! All ages Welcome. Activities are appropriate for ages 5 and up. Parents are responsible for their children. All dancers must wear shoes!
