Kestrel Educational Adventures invites you meet at the 'Get Outside Center' and caravan to a nearby wild to explore, get muddy, go wading, or stay dry and just watch! Kestrel naturalist Clayton Kern will lead an adventure in the study of reptiles and amphibians. Each week, participants will learn to catch and identify animals and will participate in a wildlife study. Your findings will be displayed at the Kestrel Educational Adventures Get Outside Center in Gloucester!

Come enjoy a movie projected on a giant screen on the waterfront, under the stars in downtown Gloucester Massachusetts! Bring a lawn chair, blanket and your family for a night of Hollywood blockbuster fun! Food and refreshments will be available starting at 6pm, and movies will begin at dark!

Walks available along beaches, footpaths, and stairways of historic buildings. Boat shuttle leaves mainland at 10AM, leaves Misery Island at 2:30PM returns to mainland 2:50.

Trident Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of new paintings, collages, and monotypes on paper by Ruth Mordecai. The gallery will host a public reception for the artist on Saturday, August 9, 5–7pm. The artist will be at Trident Gallery for conversation Saturday, August 2, 5–7pm, and will lead a discussion of her work on Sunday, August 17, 5–6pm.

Kids will learn all about Hula Hooping at Sawyer Free Library. Pinto Bella Hula Hoops will have a live demonstration where kids will learn the history of hula hoops, the benefits of the activity and how to do it properly! Kids will then have a chance to try for themselves, and then join iun on organized games and use teamwork to see how fun and energizing Hula Hooping can be! For kids in grades K-5!
