Junior Sailing Program at Eastern Point Yacht Club

The mission of the EPYC Junior Programs is to develop in its participants an appreciation and love for being on the water in a safe, fun and supportive environment. With some brand new boats and programs, there is something for everyone this summer at Eastern Point. From Harbor Mice to safe boating and a maritime adventures camps offered each sessions. These programs complement our top notch learn to sail and race team programs. EPYC Junior Sailing programs are open to the public, so children can participate whether or not their families are members of the club.

Come to CAM Green in Gloucester Massachusetts for a Free Family Movement & Art session.

This summer, stretch, jump, and move your body on the lawn of the Cape Ann Museum Green with instructors from MAGMA. After the workshop, grab some free art supplies from CAM’s Art Cart or try your hand at a self-portrait for Community Portrait Project. Maritime Gloucester invites kids to a vacation week session where they'll make a 'Rube Goldberg' machine - part of a week full of educational sessions during February vacation! Cartoonist Rube Goldberg was known for drawing complex yet impractical machines, involving multiple steps to accomplish simple tasks.  After looking at Goldberg’s humorous comics for inspiration, students will engineer a Rube Goldberg machine.  Using marbles, Lego bricks, wooden blocks, dominoes, and much more, we’ll build and test intricate machines as we learn about energy, momentum, and engineering.
