Glen Urquhart School invites children ages 4-7 to attend a fun 90-minute outdoor program on the Glen Urquhart campus in Beverly. Activities will include creative field games, a guided hike on the woodland trail, and songs and stories in the GUS greenhouse classroom.

The Beverly Holiday Farmers Market is held indoors at the Cove Community Center

Join Beverly Farmers' Market for a special holiday market! Celebrate winter with special farm fresh food, locally made gifts, and great community. This is the last market of 2016! You can expect to find winter squashes, root veggies, apples, cider, garlic, cabbage, cauliflower, eggs, cheese, beef products, maple syrup, and honey and bee products from our farmers. There will also be locally made specialty foods like artisan bread, pickles, handmade chocolates, almond butter, herbal teas, and hot soups. This market will also feature art like handmade ceramics and centerpieces.

Roller Palace, a year-round roller skating rink located in Beverly, MA,  is open for all age roller skating on Wednesday afternoons.  Skating is one of the best forms of exercise and Roller Palace is a fun place for kids to work off some energy and have a great time in the process.

Four Holiday Fairs in one day in Beverly MA!

Attend four church fairs on the same day and help support Family Promise of the North Shore, an organization working to bring area families out of homelessness. Obtain a "Passport" raffle ticket at any of the four fairs (suggested donation $2.00,) and have it stamped at each Fair. At the end of the day, turn in your ticket with stamps from all four churches to be entered into a raffle for great prizes, including tickets to the North Shore Music Theater's Christmas Carol, tickets to The Cabot Theater, restaurant gift certificates and more! Shore Country Day Names Next Head of School

The Board of Trustees has unanimously elected Clair Ward to become Shore's seventh Head of School as of July 1, 2017. Ward is currently the Head of the Valley School of Ligonier, in Pennsylvania.

In the message to the community announcing the selection, the President of the Board of Trustees, Jenn Borggaard, wrote, "An experienced teacher, administrator, and leader, Clair is well prepared to succeed long-time Head of School Larry Griffin and lead Shore into its next chapter."
