Please join Keep Beverly Beautiful for an organized volunteer-led downtown litter clean-up. We will meet at the Judson Street side of the Cabot Theatre at 9:00am. We have trash bags and adult-sized gloves to share, and usually pick up litter for about an hour. We appreciate your help keeping our city clean!
As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to come to Dane Street Beach to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore in Salem Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans! This specific cleanup is coordinated by Salem Sound Coastwatch. The North Shore Cancer RUN will feature a 5K and 10K road race starting at the Cove Community Center in Beverly, MA. Both routes are along the scenic Beverly coast and are “out and back” courses. The cost to participate is $30 prior to the race, $40 on race day.
