International School of Boston summer camp program is dedicated to providing a truly unique French immersion experience and is open to all French levels, from non-French speakers to advanced.

Under the guidance of native French speaking teachers, your children will enjoy various recreational, creative, educational, and academic activities, while simultaneously learning, hearing, comprehending, speaking and reading in French. The January 2014 Second Friday introduces visitors to MIT's +K12 Video Production Program and the students that continue to make it happen. Learn how MIT students from MIT+K-12 are changing the way that students learn. Students will demo live experiments to show how cool science can actually be - moving away from just memorizing equations and symbols out of a textbook. From color-changing chemical reactions to autonomous flying robots, we'll show you a different side of numbers and equations!

The snowman wages an epic-scale polar war on Santa, and a hilarious battle ensues, complete with a holiday arsenal of hot chocolate squirt guns, giant igloo robot walkers, and even a 50-foot-tall toy soldier manned by Santa himself.

The MIT Museum shows an exhibit of the art and science of holography with The Jeweled Net: Views of Contemporary Holography. The exhibition created in conjunction with the 9th International Symposium on Display Holography, co-sponsored by the MIT Museum and the MIT Media Lab. Over 20 holograms created by international artists, as well as several from the MIT Museum collections, will be on display, and will remain open to the public through September 28, 2013.

The New England Forest Exhibit at Harvard's Museum of Natural History

The Harvard Museum of Natural History presents a multi-media exhibition that explores the natural history and ecology of our regional forests, their responses to human activity, and their environmental significance. Visitors are invited to explore the ecology of woodland caribou, wolves, and other wildlife of New England; learn about lichen cities that cling to rocks; and the circle of life within and around a forest pond from tiny aquatic insects to giant moose.
