The Newbury Town Library invites kids to a showing of Disney's [amazon:B01CTNDO58:inline] on their half day! Based on Rudyard Kipling's timeless stories and inspired by Disney's classic animated film, The Jungle Book is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli, a man-cub who's been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan , who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. before Moglis family, a pack of wolves, can decide what to do with him, Mowgli voluntarily leaves the jungle on his own accord in search of man for the safety of his pack.  Along the way Mowgli meets many characters and has many adventures.  Join the fun in the retelling of this classic tale!.

Abbot Public Library invites kids to celebrate is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day! All across the country, children and their teddies will be getting together for snacks, stories, and activities, and we at the Abbot Library are no exception! Join us in the Children’s Room at 1:30 pm for this hour-long program. We’ll head out to the garden to hear books about bears, share a tasty treat, and make crafty presents for our loyal loveys. Bring your teddy & a blanket to join in on the fun!

Hollywood Hits Theater hosts a Movies for Moms showing held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.

• Movies for parents and caregivers.
• Babies are free.
• The sound will be lowered & baby talk welcome.
• The lights will be raised for better visibility.
• A changing table will be available in the back of the theater as well as in the restroom.
• Convenient stroller access & storage.

The Newbury Town Library invites teens to their Friday Flicks Series! We're showing movies in the Community Room  after school on the 3rd Friday of each month at 2:45pm, just for teens. Popcorn and water will be served. Movies will be rated PG or PG-13. This month we're showing [amazon:B017S3OP7A:inline] (PG-13), a movie based on the 2011 science fiction novel written by Andy Weir, his debut novel. Please sign up online to let us know you're coming!
