The TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex hosts a knitting club for anybody aged 6 and up! Children ages 6 years and older with an adult-Learn the basics of knitting AND sewing with Ms. Christine. No experience necessary! Build hand strength and dexterity which will support fine motor skills. Participants will receive knitting needles and yarn to keep. They’ll rock out and get the kids dancing in a theatre-sized conga line, and then they’ll bring them down gently to relax and engage in more attentive ways. Drawing heavily from fairytales that kids will already be familiar with, Debbie presents enough lyrical updates to keep these stories fresh, and to keep everybody tuned in and laughing, including the parents!
Join the Trustees for pizza at the Farm! Tired of being cooped up in the house? So are we! Join us for a throwback to summer at this outdoor wood-fired pizza pop up event. Tickets include parking, access to the event, a complimentary hot cocoa-bar, fire pits on the farmhouse lawn and outdoor activities to entertain the kids.
