As the holiday season rapidly approaches, North Atlantic Ballet welcomes back their annual telling of The Nutcracker. Artistic Director Lucy Warren-Whitman consistently brings the stage to life with her contemporary twist on Clara’s journey to The Land Of Sweets. Audiences delight each year in new choreography, guest appearances, creative costumes, and of course our local children’s cast dancing alongside NAB’s seasoned company dancers.

Come on up to Essex Elementary School and ring in the cold winter with a hot pancake breakfast! Suggested contribution is $10 per individual or $25 for a family and all proceeds go to Essex Elementary fifth grade students’ end-of-year activities and the student activities fund. When Santa arrives in Market Square at the end of the Amesbury Holiday Parade he’ll help the Chamber of Commerce light the Christmas Tree after leading us in holiday carols. For information about the tree lighting and caroling contact the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce.

Beverly’s annual Holiday Parade will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022. Marching bands, log rollers, majorettes, fire engines and dozens of community floats will join the guest of honor, Santa Claus, to make this a spectacular parade! It’s also a tradition for the parade committee to designate local organizations to benefit from items collected at the parade as well as portions of the funds raised at the event. Every Year the Beverly Holiday likes to Pay It Forward by raising awareness or donations for a local wonderful charitable cause.
