Get into the holiday spirit by building and decorating an authentic gingerbread house with your family. Brainstorm with your kids and bring your ideas to be creative together without messing up your own kitchen! The Children's Museum of NH will supply all the materials: a fresh and tasty unassembled gingerbread house, icing and a wide variety of candy and edible decorations – you supply the inspiration! Cider, cookies and holiday music make this a memorable family experience.

Local students at Gloucester Uechi Karate Academy of Gloucester will participate in a Kick-A-Thon to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Students are collecting sponsorships from friends, family and neighbors, and using their healthy muscles to help others whose muscles are not as strong. The fundraising goal is $10,000, with all proceeds going to benefit the MDA – a non-profit organization servicing over 2000 families in Massachusetts, with more than 600 of those families coming from communities on the North Shore and Merrimack Valley. 

Emma Andrews Library and Community Center welcomes Kate Yeomans and her crew from the Merrohawke Nature School, for a fun hands-on live animal demonstration! Kids will learn about different sea creatures and their habitats, and have a chance to handle them to solidify their learning experience! Come at 12 noon with a picnic, make a craft project and at learn from the Boat Camp Crew starting at 1pm!

The The Trustees of Reservations invite you to celebrate Spring with family and friends at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich. During this FREE day of events and activities you can take a self-guided tour of the Great House, enjoy lawn games along the rolling Grand Allée, go on a family-friendly treasure hunt, join a may-pole dance, find out what SummerQuest camp is all about, and get the low down on becoming a Trustees volunteer! People are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch!
