Groundwork Lawrence hosts farmers markets three days a week in the greater Lawrence Area

Groundwork Lawrence hosts three farmer's markets per week because fruits and vegetables grown locally are best for you, your health, and your family's health, because it supports local businesses, keeps money in our community, and is the best for the environment. Come and support your local farmers, to get fresh products, and connect with your neighbors.

No fancy pastry here, this workshop embraces the nostalgia of old-fashioned country-style baking here in New England!  We'll roll up our sleeves to prepare delicious sweet and savory recipes while learning fundamental measuring and baking principles, along with and proper methods and techniques for quick breads, filled cookies, yeast bread, and seasonal specialty fruit desserts.

Cook-a-Book for Kids at Sawyer Free Library

Sawyer Free Library hosts a FREE cooking workshop for kids and families!

Do you and your child or grandchild love to cook together? Choose a recipe from children's cookbook "Cooking Step by Step" by DK Publishing, and together with your child prepare it and bring it in to share! Pick up a copy of the book in children's services. CAFM Annual Dinner & Movie

Cape Ann Farmers Market hosts their annual dinner and movie featuring 'Local Thirty'

The Cape Ann Farmers' Market will be holding their annual fundraiser this year at the Cape Ann Community Cinema! Join them for a dinner and movie at the cinema featuring the film 'Local Thrity', a film that follows farmer Andrea Bemis and her family as they meet seven producers from the Oregon coast to Oregon ranching country during a month-long commitment to eating foods grown or harvested within 200 miles. Maureen Aylward bring the storytelling program, Fish Tales, which she produces through the Gloucester Writers Center, back to our fundraiser with the theme “Food for Thought.” Come enjoy the community spirit, share a movie and a meal and help support the Farmer's Market.
