Pathways for Children invites families to their Cape Ann Family Fun Fair! Come for a morning of fun activities, catch a live demonstration by Curious Creatures, and a puppet show by Adventures with Amy and Open Mic!
MaryBeth Maes comes to Danvers library for a free concert for Pre-k children! We will sing, dance, learn to count, sing about healthy eating and exercise and much more. We also will play instruments. (older siblings welcome too!)
French native speaker and French teacher Caroline, will introduce the French language to babies with songs, rhythms, and games.
Children from infant to 14 months will learn the colors, sing the most popular French lullabies, and hear numbers, alphabet, animals and more! Each week will have a different theme. A book will be read and toys will at the disposition of the babies during the class.

Should you take your baby to the movies? The answer is a resounding YES! Cinema Salem steps outside of their normal operating procedures each Monday morning to create a baby friendly environment for the “Baby and Me Show”. These showings are especially designed for moms, dads, grandparents, & nannies, and give attendees the chance to see first run movies and enjoy a film with other infant caregivers!
The Speech-Language Department at Beverly Hospital will conduct free pediatric speech/language screenings in their outpatient clinic through the month of October for children 18 months to six years of age.
The Lucky Duck Derby, hosted by Newburyport Youth Services, is a family and community event. Don’t be a Lame Duck, join the fun! Participants will 'sponsor' ducks. Children will receive a 'Duckie Certificate' and be able to name their ducks. Up to 2,000 rubber duckies will be numbered and placed in the Bartlet Mall pond. The Big Duck will head out in a row boat and randomly pick the winning ducks!
Pathways for Children is hosting a FREE session with Japescape! Jape teaches a series of age appropriate theater games, stage techniques, improvisation scenes and songs while fostering confidence, acting skills, imagination and team spirit. The workshops are geared for children between the ages of 5-12.
