Family presentations with Miss Lisa at 11am about whales and at 2pm about sea turtles.
Experience the age-old tradition of maple sugaring at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary! The warm days of late winter awaken the flow of sap in the maples resulting in sweet-smelling, billowing clouds of steam rising from the sugarhouse. On a naturalist-guided walk, learn how to identify a sugar maple, observe tapping and sap collection methods, watch the sap being boiled down in the sugarhouse, and get a sweet taste of the final product.
Come to the Lynn Museum and Historical Society for FREE family fun. Join us on the second and fourth Saturday of each month for FREE admission to the Museum from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.! Alastair Moock and Friends return to the Cabot with their unique brand of upbeat, socially-conscious Americana music for all ages! Joining them for this special performance is the Teen Tour Choir of Boston City Singers from Dorchester, MA. Moock, a Grammy-nominated family musician, has worked closely with Boston City Singers for years, ever since his daughter joined the group in second grade.
Emma Andrews Library and Community Center invites you to the library for a bowl of hot soup on a Winter afternoon! Come enjoy the library, share some great food and leave knowing that the price of your meal will go to fund 2025 Emma in the Backyard Summer Programs. Enjoy a bowl of tasty soup, bread and homemade desserts made by Emma volunteers.
Help paint a bowl to be auctioned at The Open Door's annual fundraiser!! All supplies are provided. Spaces are limited and registration is required. This program is intended for adults, teens and children (ages 8 and older.) Children aged 7 and younger may register and participate with a caretaker's assistance.

Bradley Palmer State Park is located at 40 Asbury St. in Topsfield. All programs are free and open to the public. Reasonable accommodations upon request. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Events outside may include rough, uneven trails that contain ice and snow, warm clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. Join PEM as they celebrate the Lunar New Year | The Year of the Snake! Come welcome the Year of the Snake with a vibrant festival heralding new beginnings and the coming of spring! Enjoy a scavenger hunt, art making and guided tours of Yin Yu Tang. Lunar New Year is celebrated in many Asian countries, including China, Vietnam, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. While some traditions are shared across countries, others are unique to one region, community or national cultural identity. Our programming this year focuses on Chinese cultural traditions.
From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. Together, we are looking to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good night’s sleep.
