We decided to check out the Appleton Farms Sugar Shack recently and loved the whole experience! This new operation is taking advantage of the many maples that line the trails and dirt roads that criss-cross the farm, and they're boiling down as much as they can so that eventually there will be a small supply of pure maple syrup available at the farm store!
Come to the Dolan Performing Arts Center for a speical FREE screening of 'Most Likely to Succeed', a film about modern education and paving a way for students to thrive in the world of the future. The film inspires its audiences with a sense of purpose and possibility, and is bringing school communities together in re-imagining what students and teachers are capable of doing. After seeing this film, you’ll never look at school the same way again. A panel discussion will follow the film.
The Wenham Tea House invites you to a breakfast for kids who love LEGOs! Kids will enjoy a breakfast buffet to enjoy along side an exhibit of unique and rare LEGO builds that are sure to impress. Participants will have a LEGO building workshop, and each child will receive a small LEGO building kit to take home.
Come explore the woodlands, wetlands, and fields along the sanctuary trails. Learn how to identify tracks in the snow and use your detective skills to observe nibbled twigs and nuts, and scat. On our return, we will warm up with a delicious cup of hot chocolate!
On alternating Sunday afternoons through March, the refuge will be screening FREE, child-friendly films that feature a wildlife and/or environmental theme. All films will be projected on the big screen in the refuge visitor center’s awesome auditorium. No preregistration; simply show up! All movies begin at 1:30 pm.

Culinary tips and techniques will be covered as we prepare our dinner followed by a relaxing meal in the farmhouse dining room. Printed recipe booklet and indulgent chocolate take-treats to savor later! BYOB wine, champagne and beer is allowed.
