The Newburyport Chamber of Commerce invites you to welcome Spring's arrival to Newburyport at the 2025 Spring Fest! There will be a great line-up of vendors, handmakers, artisans, live music, family activities and more. Enjoy a weekend filled with art, culture, shopping, delectables, and live entertainment during the annual Newburyport Spring Fest 2025!  Come to the Historic Waterfront Park of our beautiful coastal community and experience all that Newburyport has to offer! 

Enjoy an inspirational performance from the talented youth musicians from the Boston String Academy. Serving 130 students each year in the Greater Boston community, the BSA was cofounded in 2012 by violinists Mariesther and Marielisa Alvarez, twin sisters who learned music in Venezuela’s storied national music education program, El Sistema, before attending Boston Conservatory together. The youth ensemble performs roughly 10 concerts per year at such notable halls as Carnegie Hall and the Hatch Memorial Shell with Boston Landmarks Orchestra.

Halibut Point State Park offers a self-guided quarry tour to do at your leisure.  Explore the park’s trails and tidepools, to picnic on its rocky ledges, to enjoy its sweeping views, and to learn about Cape Ann’s historic granite industry. To celebrate Earth Month, our Family Open House will focus on ocean and coastal conservation and what we are doing to protect beaches and wetlands. Drop in to see our tide pool touch tank and meet some moon snails, hermit crabs and sea stars! Learn about shorebird protection and find out what lives in the salt marsh! Family presentations with Miss Lisa at 11am about Piping Plovers and at 1pm about Harbor Seals.
