The Chebacco Lake and Watershed Association will sponsor its annual Fourth of July Boat Parade on at 10am Sunday, July 4th. All boats will meet at Betty Ozolin's dock on the South Side of Gregory Island ( small cove)and proceed around the lake counterclockwise. Prizes will be awarded for Most Patriotic, Most Creative and best costume or costumes.

Boat America is a boating certificate class that offers an in-depth and interesting boating safety course, and provides the knowledge needed to obtain a boating certificate which is mandatory in NH and other states.
Holiday Fairs at Essex Churches - The warmth of an old country church fair enlivens the town on a cold, winter’s day when all three of Essex’s downtown churches hold their annual Holiday Fair. All three churches are within walking distance with free on street parking. Gift bargains are served up along with homemade food and hot beverages. A dollar goes a long way at this event.
