This race offers both a 5K  and a 10K race. The 10K distance is part of the 2018 New England Running Company Trail Series. The race course winds through the beautiful wooded hills behind the Pingree School. Each year thousands of participants join together with family members, colleagues and friends for the North Shore Cancer WALK. As a walker, volunteer or donor, you can be part of an inspirational day in the fight against cancer. The 10K (6.2 mile) WALK route is an unforgettable journey of shared purpose and commitment. It winds through historic Salem, featuring an array of entertainers that lend a festive air to this profound community event. We encourage you to become a part of this annual celebration of life, hope and courage of all those who have been touched by this disease.

Beverly Recycles hosts an electronics recycling extravaganza on May 5th. Open to everyone! This is an excellent opportunity to conveniently recycle computers, TVs, air conditioners, and all other electronics. Pretty much anything with a plug! Reasonable rates, and many items accepted for free! Proceeds benefit Beverly High School Athletics and the Beverly Recycles Education Fund.
