Join us for a jolly evening of carol singing and holiday cheer, featuring Brian Doser, Peter Stewart, and Stage 284 friends! Santa will be arriving by fire truck at about 7:30pm. Free to attend! Under the direction of Music Director Dr. Minji Kim, the Newburyport Choral Society welcomes you to experience a selection will perform a selection of delightful holiday music from various cultures and countries around the world. The choral program includes a Spanish lullaby, a Moroccan Chanukah composition, an African Kwanzaa song of celebration, a Filipino Christmas carol, and the well-known Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten.

People of all ages love owls, and many species of owls can be found right here in Massachusetts year-round. Experience the excitement of an owl prowl as we take a night hike to look and listen for Barred Owls, Great Horned Owls, and Eastern Screech-owls. Before we head out on our nocturnal adventure, we'll learn fun owl facts in our cozy Barn using real owl mounts, feathers, talons, and a brief slide show. We'll end our evening with an owl-hooting lesson.
This Halloween, Greater Beverly YMCA, Be Healthy Beverly, a youth substance use coalition, and the Regional Youth Prevention Network, is excited to present $1 Fright Night at The Cabot! Middle and High School students from across the North Shore are welcome to stop by between 4:30 and 6pm for some Halloween tricks and treats, before settling in with complimentary popcorn and soda to watch Gremlins on the big screen from 6-8pm.

We will have spooky music, multiple trick or treat stations inside the castle and bubbles, snacks, and a craft at the 13th Century arches. You bring the scary costumes.

Wingmasters with Jim Parks present Eyes on Owls. Owls are not evil spirits, wise little philosophers or Walt Disney creations. Nor do they wing about carrying messages, despite the way they're depicted in the Harry Potter books. In fact, owls are probably more misunderstood than any other kind of bird. These are hunting birds, yet their sharp beaks and talons are partly hidden under feathers. Owl have more and softer feathers than other birds, and this unique plumage gives them a plump, rounded look.
